Update...

For our dedicated family members who expected weekly updates and were disappointed with the lack thereof we are sorry... The idea of trying to post once a week was just that...a good idea lol! It would be nice to post more often, but life is a little crazy right now so we hope to post as often as possible. :) Thank you for your prodding and efforts to motivate us to update... this post is for you...{keep in mind that the kids are running crazy in the background and trying to give their Momma a hard time haha... what's new? ;) }

Our little blessings have grown to be handsome little fellas!

Phoenix (16 months) Drake (32 months aka almost 3 years)

Our little guys are the best of buds... Phoenix has finally got to the age where he can keep up with his big brother and he loves it! They have their share of sibling quarrels over toys and attention, but are usually very even tempered with each other. The other day we were talking about how Phoenix is the age that Drake was when we brought him home from the hospital. It's crazy to think how fast time flies when you are watching your little ones grow before your eyes.

Phoenix has become quite the spunky little character. He walks with a bounce in his step and a smile on his face. He loves cows (he has a favorite called moo) and horses. His favorite past time is to eat lol and he gets really frustrated if he is interrupted during his food time! Our little sweet boy also enjoys climbing on everything and has been dubbed little monkey. Much like his older brother Phoenix is quite the fearless little man and we are constantly trying to keep him out of harms way. The past few weeks he has decided to let us know just how much he has been paying attention to us and has been sprouting out word after word surprising us with how many words he can actually say.

Drake is such a matter of fact little man. Everything that he declares is so to the point and truthful. When he asks questions and if he excepts the answers you give him you'll often hear him respond with "OH...Ok!" , but when he isn't satisfied with the answers he will go on and on until he is thoroughly educated lol. He is doing very well with potty training (it has been a long road, but we have making huge leaps of progress since the move) and he refuses to wear diapers instead opting for his Undieweeers. The boy simply loves string cheese, chips, ranch, and if he could he would probably eat nothing else. He is getting really good with counting and has memorized up to 15. The alphabet is coming along well for him to and we think that he will have it down in no time. Drake loves dinosaurs still and has recently become interested in every kind of animal he can learn about. His favorite movie right now is "How to Train Your Dragon" (if I never have to watch that movie again I would be okay with that haha)

Both boys love to play outside and we have to pull them away from their bikes at the end of the day. We are looking forward to the warm weather that is coming our way. Drake really enjoys fishing and Phoenix loves to swim so we have a lot of water activities planned for the coming season. Now that the boys are older we are hoping to be able to do a bit more camping this year and spend more time in the great outdoors.

The boys are becoming a little frustrated with me not focusing on them right now so I better go lol... I hope that this post has satisfied those of you have been ever so patiently ;) waiting for an update. Until next time....
