Happy Birthday Drake!

Today we celebrated Drake's 1st Birthday at the park with family and friends!

He got tonz of great presents, but the only thing

he was interested in was a balloon from Grandma Tammy...

and he loved being able to play with his cousins...

However he didn't love it so much when daddy smashed the cake in his face...

he got over it though and forgave daddy after a few rides down the slide!

Drake decided to take a nose dive off the patio stairs...

Almost half way...

We have now officially made it to the 17th week of pregnancy! For those of you who don't already know the due date has been confirmed for 11/26/2009 Thanksgiving Day!!! With a due date like that we would crazy not to refer to him/her as Turkey :) ....That's right...once again we have decided to NOT find out what the gender of the baby will be! As for names....we've always known that our first daughter will be named Lily May and as for boy names feel free to check out our polls and vote on our top 5 choices :).

Into The Woods We Go...

We've decided to spend Fathers Day camping! The last time we went camping Drake was 3 months old and he just was not having it and so we had to go home early and have not ventured out into the wilderness since. Camping is one of our favorite hobbies so we are hoping that the little guy will enjoy this trip now that he is older......IF we are lucky enough not to get rained out with all the storms we've been having!!! Call us crazy but we are determined to get away for the weekend and enjoy some quiet time in the mountains...Wish us luck :)

**Drake Update**

Drake is having his first birthday in 2 weeks! He has developed quite the little personality and we like to joke that he thinks he is king of the house... he definately knows what his likes and dislikes are and expresses them quite well with an enthusiastic "YEAH" or "NAH". He started walking last week and even though he has a cute little wobble-step-face plant routine going on he is definately getting the hang of it and keeps us on our toes trying to keep up with him.
