Daddy's Day Off...

March was a crazy busy month for our family and we decided to take a family day and spend some quality time enjoying life together...

We started off our adventure at Village Inn for breakfast... 

 After an hour of waiting, awful service, and terrible food we were excited to get going to our next stop.  Memah Tammy had invited us to the Elk's Lodge Easter Egg Hunt.  The boys had a blast and loaded up on more than enough candy...

From the Easter Egg Hunt we headed down south to spend time with Holly and Taylor (the boys favorite cousins) and then we headed north to a birthday party for our nephew JJ (PorkChop).  We played at the park for a few hours and then we headed to the big surprise of the day...

THE HOGLE ZOO!

 

  We stayed until closing and the boys cried when we had to leave because they had enjoyed their time there so much.  The day was hot and the zoo was chaotic, but we couldn't have asked for a better way to end our family day.

Gardening with Grandma Shirley!

Drake and Phoenix are happiest when they are helping.  Drake always exclaims, "I can help I am an amazing helper!" and Phoenix is always by his side eager to get work done.  When Grandma Shirley asked them to help her start her spring garden they were more than thrilled to lend a hand!

Tiffy's Wisdom Teeth Removal

Tiffy's wisdom teeth were causing havoc to her other teeth so her dentist insisted that she have them removed as soon as possible.  On 03/27/2012 She went in and had them removed and did not enjoy the experience (haha of course not).  However, she recovered quickly and was back to her usual self after a few days of recovery.
