Peterson Family Update...

Well first and foremost we would like to introduce our newest member of our family...

Phoenix Rodney Peterson

Born 11/25/2009

9lbs 2 oz

Phoenix is such a wonderful addition to our little family...We had a rough go at trying to bring him into this world, but we know had a guardian angel watching out for us and after almost losing the little guy we were blessed with a happy & healthy baby...we spent 2 days in the hospital and couldn't wait to get home and introduce him to his big brother...

Drake was in love with Phoenix the second that he saw him and is quite the loving big brother making sure that Phoenix gets more than enough hugs and kisses! He loves to sing to his little brother and loves getting him to smile! Phoenix is always smiling...he is such a happy little fellow and loves to show off his one little dimple to everyone he meets. He just turned 4 months old this last Thursday and Drake is anxiously awaiting the day that he can wrestle the little guy, but seems to understand that he is not big enough yet.

As for other news...

We moved again! We love our new place though...we have been here 7 months now and don't plan on moving any time soon. There is a park across the street and the weather is starting warm up so on the nice days we've started taking Drake over to play and he loves it! He loves it so much that when it is time to come back home he fights us the whole way kicking and screaming! HAHA! Drake has such a dominate personality and isn't afraid to let you know exactly what he is thinking...

But if he gets too much out of hand we just take him over to Memah Shirley's house and he straightens right up lol...He loves his Memah Shirley so much that even on the worst of days if he sees her he'll be the happiest little boy you've ever seen... We like to go and play cards with Memah at least once a week and lately the competition has been getting intense I think that Jed & Shirley are in cahoots with each other ha ha! It is a really fun time and we love going over there.

I know it's been a choppy update...please forgive me :)

Last but not least...

On Wednesday we are going on our first official vacation since 2008!

We are hopping on a plane way too early in the morning with 2 little boys that I am sure are going to be super cranky and we're flying over to Texas for the Beck Family Reunion! The traveling part is definitely going to be interesting...Not that we haven't flown before...we have...just not as adults and not with little children...Don't worry though I have called the airline and had them thoroughly outline what we need to do ha ha...yeah I am a dork! Besides that we are really looking forward to seeing everyone and finally being able to introduce Jed to the "other half" of the family! It's Illysia's (my youngest sister) 5th birthday, The Family Reunion, and Easter Sunday so it's sure to be an exciting adventure for us!

Anyway it is way too late and Phoenix will probably be up in a few hours so I am going to attempt at trying to get some sleep...
